Who among us does not have a sweet heart that reminds us of childhood?
After all, it is the recipes that smell of ‘home’ that make our hearts beat faster.
Today we are taking a trip down memory lane with this delicious doughnut, soft as a cloud, with a delicate yoghurt flavour and a mouth-watering heart of jam.
We have chosen mulberry jam, with its unique taste, but you can use whatever you like.
Ingredients:
- 4 medium eggs
- 250 g sugar
- 140 g peanut oil or your favourite
- 125 ml whole yoghurt
- 50 ml milk
- 300 g 00 flour
- 1/2 sachet of baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- Mulberry jam
Preparation:
Separate the eggs and whip the egg whites firmly and set aside.
Whip the yolks with the sugar, also add the saltAdd now all the liquids (yoghurt, milk and oil).
Gradually add the sifted flour, with a spatula.
Always gently incorporate the egg whites and only at the end the sifted baking powder.
Pour the mixture into a baking tin of 22 cm in diameter, previously buttered and floured.
Add the jam in teaspoons spaced out over the entire surface.Bake in a preheated oven at 180° static function for 45'.
Always do the toothpick test. A delicious recipe to replicate immediately for breakfast or snack.
