Uses in the kitchen
It is eaten by spreading it on slices of toasted bread, better if still hot, or as a sauté for the base of a meat sauce or tomato sauce; excellent for flavoring pizza, it can be added as desired before the other toppings or freshly taken out of the oven. It can be eaten on slices of semi-mature cheeses, to fill omelette rolls, sandwiches and savory doughs. A versatile cream with a Calabrian taste!
Ingredients: Chili pepper, 'Nduja (29.1%) (pork fat and meat, sweet and hot pepper, salt) (IT1591/L CE), olive oil, salt, wine vinegar.
Acidifier: Citric acid.
Allergens: Sulfur dioxide and sulphites.
