Among the best known and most appreciated Calabrian preparations, the black arragan olives have a unique and unmistakable flavour. Once the olives have reached maturity and then baked, they are seasoned with chilli pepper, garlic and oregano and finally filled with olive oil.
Uses in the kitchen
Perfect on a cutting board for a rich aperitif, together with cured meats and cheeses, they are excellent as a condiment on pizza, both red and white, or to flavor pasta dishes, even cold. Ideal as an accompaniment to savory fish main courses, such as fried cod with “cruschi” (dried) peppers, a typical Calabrian recipe.
Ingredients: Baked black olives (black olives, sunflower oil, salt) (74.8%), olive oil, chili flakes, garlic, oregano, salt, wine vinegar.
Acidifier: Citric acid.
Allergens: Sulfur dioxide and sulphites.

- After opening, cover the product with oil and store in the fridge.
