Crostata morbida con More di Gelso - Valle del Crati

A simple and mouth-watering tart, perfect for breakfast and snack time!

Treat yourself to a mouth-watering break without too much guilt with our Soft Tart with Mulberry Jam, a real delicacy.

Ingredients for a 24 cm mould

· 200 g 00 flour

· 2 whole eggs plus one yolk

· 130 g sugar

· 120 ml sunflower oil

· 40 ml milk

· Grated rind of one lemon

· 6 g baking powder

· 1 pinch of salt

· Mulberry Extra jam 


Combine eggs, sugar, pinch of salt and lemon zest in a bowl and whisk.

Then pour in oil and milk and mix again. Finally incorporate sifted flour and baking powder to prevent lumps from forming.

Line the mould with baking paper and pour the mixture inside.

Now spread a little jam here and there, creating scattered mounds.

Bake in a static oven preheated to 170 degrees for about 30/40 minutes, testing with a toothpick.

Once cooked, take it out of the oven and leave it to cool before sprinkling it with icing sugar. 

TIP: if the jam has gone down too much, just add a little to the crevices, even after baking.
