Chocolate and orange, a perfect combination for a
mouth-watering break that will delight young and old alike
For the biscuit dough
- 4 eggs
- 120 g sugar
- 120 g flour
- Lemon and orange zest
For
the filling
- 70 ml cream for desserts
- a tablespoon of condensed milk
- Extra Valle del Crati orange marmalade
- 100 g dark chocolate
Method
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the
mixture is light and fluffy. We add lemon and orange zest, sift in the flour a little
at a time and gently stir the mixture from the bottom to the top.
Now pour into a 28x38 cm drip pan lined with baking
paper, level and bake for about 12 minutes at 180° (always adjust according to
your oven).
When cooked, turn the base upside down onto a tray
covered with a sheet of baking paper and gently remove the other, cover with
cling film and leave to cool.
Meanwhile we prepare the milk cream by whipping the
cream and adding the condensed milk.
As soon as our base has cooled, we divide it and trim
the edges if necessary.
We fill with a layer of jam and a layer of milk cream,
cover with the other half of the biscuit dough and form rectangles. We coat
with melted dark chocolate and decorate the surface by creating wavy lines.
