Granola ai fichi secchi - Valle del Crati

For a breakfast full of energy, healthy and tasty try this recipe, making it is really simple .

The ingredient that cannot be missing are ours dried figs of Cosenza , with a sweet and honeyed taste, soft and rich in pulp, with truly unique organoleptic characteristics.

150g rolled oats
60g walnuts/almonds/hazelnuts
25g sunflower/pumpkin seeds
70g dried figs of Cosenza DOP
20g coconut oil
cinnamon to taste


Soften the dried figs in a little warm water for about ten minutes.
In a bowl pour the oatmeal, the chopped dried fruit, the sunflower (or pumpkin) seeds, the cinnamon and mix.
Add the coconut oil (alternatively sunflower oil) and the figs cut into small pieces and after mixing, transfer everything onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Distribute the mixture well, pressing it with the back of a spoon.
Now in a preheated static oven at 200° for about 15 minutes.
Once cooled, store the granola in an airtight glass jar and ENJOY BREAKFAST!
