Pasta sfoglia alle mele e marmellata di agrumi - Valle del Crati

Quick and easy to prepare, this delicious puff pastry encapsulates all the ingredients of autumn. Apples, citrus fruits and nuts for a tasty and delicious break.
The kitchen will be intoxicated with wonderful scents! 

- One roll of puff pastry
- One and a half apples (golden type)
- Cinnamon to taste
- The juice of half a lemon
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 jar of extra orange and lemon jam
- Walnut kernels to taste 


Cut the apples into thin slices.

Put them in a bowl together with the sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice and mix well. Now roll out the pastry and place it in the baking tin. Prick it with a fork and sprinkle it evenly with jam.

Now arrange the apple slices. If the pastry sheet is round in a radial pattern, if it is rectangular, alternate the direction of each row so as to obtain a moving effect. Add nuts here and there and finally a pinch of brown sugar to further caramelise the surface of the apples.

Bake at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes, checking it often.
