Typical dairy product made exclusively from sheep's milk, an authentic pearl among the typical products of the Crotone plain. Aged for a minimum of 16 months, brown and hard rind, straw colored paste. With a strong, intense flavor and a slightly hot and spicy aftertaste of black pepper.
Uses in the kitchen
Ideal as an appetizer or in combination with other typical products of Calabrian cuisine, grated on pasta for those who prefer an intense flavour. Delicious if tasted with our Onion or Chili Pepper Jam, Extra Fig Jam or Fig Molasses.
