Limoni ripieni crema al tonno e cipolle in agrodolce - Valle del Crati

Lemons are very popular, especially in summer, for their refreshing power!

In the kitchen they lend themselves to many recipes, both sweet and savoury, but this one is really something new.

Delicious lemons filled with a tuna cream and flavoured with the special touch of sweet and sour red onions.

A fresh and scenic dish to replicate immediately! 


· 4 lemons

· 2 tins of tuna

· 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

· sweet and sour red onions to taste

· 1 cucumber

· 1 courgette

· 2 hard-boiled eggs 


Drain the tuna and prepare the cream by adding two tablespoons of mayonnaise.

Separately, prepare: a cucumber cut into cubes, a diced courgette lightly blanched (about 2-3 minutes) and two hard-boiled eggs.

Carefully hollow out the lemons, carefully cutting off both the top part that you will use as a lid and the bottom part to give stability.

Stuff the lemons by alternating the tuna cream with the courgette, cucumber and sweet and sour onions in layers.
